Clinical Trial Manager to Diamyd Medical

We seek a Clinical Trial Manager with experience within clinical trials and clinical research to join our entrepreneurial and collaborative team at Diamyd Medical, a Swedish biotech company in a strong development phase.

Who you are
You are a self-motivated, highly organized person with thorough project management experience and goodknowledge of ICH-GCP, compliance and regulatory requirements. You enjoy working in a small organization and taking a broad responsibility. You are proactive and have good communication skills. Having a bachelor’s degree in a science or medical area will be a minimum requirement and ideally, you will have a master’s degree that focuses on clinical research.

Your responsibilities
As a ClinicalTrial Manager at Diamyd Medical your focus will be on ongoing clinical trials as well as in planning, applying and conducting new trials. The task requires a passion for scientifically complicated projects and involves many national and international contacts within industry and academia.

Who we are
Diamyd Medical develops the diabetes vaccine Diamyd®, an antigen-specific immunotherapy based on the exclusively licensed GAD-molecule. Six investigator-initiated clinical trials are ongoing, five in Sweden and one in the US, testing Diamyd® in children and young adults with type 1 diabetes, with the objective of preventing, delaying or stopping the autoimmune attack on beta cells and thus preserve the body’s own ability to produce insulin. GABA constitutes alongside with the diabetes vaccine a key asset and we use our GABA in-licensed technology to develop a proprietary GABA drug product to treat serious inflammatory diseases.

Parts of the operations are outsourced to qualified partners with expert knowledge while the company employees manage and implement clinical and preclinical development, regulatory affairs, production and business development.

Diamyd Medical‘s shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm First North.

Our office is located in the heart of Stockholm.
