Teknisk ingenjör – Rubberduck mobil tv
You will be part of our technical customer support team, taking part in a two shifts plus “oncall” rotation. The role covers up to 3rd line technical support across a range of platforms and technologies mainly concentrated on Linux OS and Cisco. Primary responsibility for Incident and problem management of the production infrastructure as well as assisting in Change management activities. Your responsibilities also extend to development, testing and contributing in projects related to MobileTV and Video on Demand for our customers. Support shift and night duty will be compensated. Technical support for production systems ensuring all systems are delivering to agreed service levels and recommending and implementing technical improvements. Leading technical implementation projects ensuring all delivery dates are met.
Must have commercial technical experience working in 24/7/365 technical support environment aligned to the ITIL framework.
Applicants should have the following skills in their luggage:
- Knowledge of rtsp and http protocols.
- An understanding of the techniques behind streaming media and Mobile TV.
- Mobile phone operating systems and integration experience.
- Experience in setting up best practice system administration routines.
- Good understanding of ITIL best practice framework.
- Extensive Knowledge of the Linux OS and some Microsoft Server and OS– MCSE/MCP qualification desirable.
- Network management – CCNP qualification desirable.
- Knowledge of Cisco hardware and software.
- In depth Knowledge of Dell server hardware.
