Prompt Gas Market Analyst (m/f)

Responsibilities

  • Provide fundamental analysis and forecasts for European Prompt Gas markets within the prompt time frame
  • Analysis of the LNG market, gas storage and infrastructure as input for deriving market views
  • Proactively identify market opportunities and provide trade recommendations
  • Analysis and research in close collaboration with the prompt gas trading teams
  • Maintain and develop analysis tools, methods, systems and applications

Qualifications

  • Profound understanding of the UK and continental European Gas markets and price drivers
  • Strong analytical skills plus ability to identify relevant information sources and databases
  • Experience in a trading environment in a similar role
  • Proactive communication, good team player
  • Fluent English required; other European language skills advantageous
  • Good Microsoft Excel knowledge required; VBA and Matlab programming an advantage
