Credit Risk Analyst - Counterparty Analysis (m/f)
Responsibilities
Evaluation of counterparty financial and other information to set counterparty credit limits in accordance with Company policy
Proactively liaise with counterparties to support commercial initiatives
Provide leadership in drafting and negotiation of credit aspects within our trading contracts working closely with Legal including the implementation of cross commodity master netting agreements, credit support documentation and other credit risk mitigation techniques
Identify, measure, monitor, mitigate and report credit risk
Proactively work with traders on credit issues
Develop and operate processes, procedures and controls in support of financial regulation and other corporate requirements
Contribute to ad hoc project work
Represent Credit Manager at key meetings
Some travel required
Keeping abreast of current trends and developments in areas of expertise
Undertake personal and team development programmes in accordance with Company initiatives
Qualifications
At least 3 years experience in a trading risk management or similar role within traded markets or a bank
Graduate or professional qualification
Self-starter with drive to achieve objectives
Demonstrably able to adapt to new challenges and change in a fast-moving environment and provide fresh ideas and solutions
Commercial acumen and good sense of business awareness
Strong team player with ability to cultivate positive working relationships both within Company and externally
Communicate complex issues in clear and concise manner
Very good knowledge of English necessary; German a plus; other languages welcome
